Items Parents Should Bring

Diapers — enough for the day, plus extra
Wipes
Diaper cream, if needed
Extra clothes — at least 2 full sets
Bottles — labeled with child’s name
Formula or breast milk — labeled with name and date
Baby food / lunch, if not provided by school
Bibs
Pacifier, if used
Sleep sack, if used
Comfort item, such as small blanket or stuffed animal, if allowed
Sunscreen, if needed and approved by parent
Hat or jacket depending on weather
Family photo, if you want to use it for the child’s comfort/quiet area

Items Parents Should Bring

Backpack
Water bottle — labeled
Lunch, if not provided by school
Morning/afternoon snack, if not provided by school
Extra clothes — at least 1–2 full sets
Nap blanket
Small pillow or nap mat item, if allowed
Comfort item for nap or transition, if needed
Jacket or weather-appropriate clothing
Closed-toe shoes
Sunscreen, if needed and approved by parent
Family photo, if used for classroom/transition support

Drop-Off Reminders for First Day

Arrive during the scheduled drop-off window
Sign in through Brightwheel
Keep goodbye short, warm, and confident
Hand child to teacher at the designated handoff area
Share any urgent updates with the director/teacher
Send non-urgent notes through Brightwheel
Make sure all items are labeled with child’s name
