Sick Policy

At our preschool, the health and safety of all children is our priority. To prevent the spread of illness, we ask that children remain at home if they exhibit any of the following:

• A fever of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher.
  
   
• Vomiting or diarrhea within the past 24 hours.
  
   
• Any contagious illness such as pink eye, strep throat, or chickenpox.
  
   
• Persistent cough, unexplained rash, or other symptoms suggesting a communicable disease.
  
   

Children may return to school when they have been symptom-free for at least 24 hours without the use of medication. If your child has been prescribed antibiotics for a contagious condition, they may return after 24 hours of treatment.

Please notify us promptly if your child is diagnosed with a contagious illness. We will inform other families of potential exposure while maintaining confidentiality.
